The Buckstone House Coach House is a delightful combination of antique furniture, tasteful furnishings and the comforts of modern living.
As you enter the Coach House, there is a small, but well-equipped kitchen, and a double bedroom with its own separate shower room.
The living room is on the first floor to take advantage of the lovely views down across the garden in one direction and over open fields to the south in the other. The living room is large and airy, with exposed beams and ample comfortable seating. Although there is central heating throughout the house, a gas fired “wood-burner” stove in the living room makes the room particularly welcoming on colder evenings after a day in the countryside. For your entertainment, there is a wide screen television, DVD player and hi-fi system. The round dining table seats four guests.
Also on the first floor is the spacious master double bedroom, with a king-sized bed. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, with a bath and a shower over the bath.
The owner’s carefully tended garden has a tennis court and outdoor swimming pool (which is heated and in use from about the end of May to early September) and both of these facilities are shared between the owners and the guests. Table and chairs are available for al fresco dining and barbequing on the gas barbeque, which is provided for the use of guests.
Washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, hob, oven, toaster, wide screen TV with Sky freeview, DAB digital radio and CD system, hair dryer, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. Each bedroom has ample hanging and storage space. There is high speed fibre WiFi connection. There is secure storage of bicycles and facilities for drying clothes and boots.
The price of your stay includes electricity, heating, bed linen, bath towels but guests should bring their own towels if they intend to use the swimming pool.
We are sorry, but we do not accept pets and, by law, there is no smoking in The Coach House.
